Group Training is designed to help you move better and become healthier than ever. Whether your goal is weightloss, injury rehabilitation or simply a great workout, we will cater for your needs with individual specific programmes. This is a fun and interactive way to socialise and exercise with like-minded individuals, where you will also have the benefit of instruction from one of our expert personal trainers.

Class times:
Monday 6-7pm; 7-8pm
Wednesday 6-7pm; 7-8pm
Saturday 9-10am

The cost per class is £6.

 Total Performance Fitness and Ways of Working Sport Therapy are pleased to announce the appointment of Joanne Hanna as resident Physiotherapist.

With an impressive background and wealth of experience, Joanne joins the team as former Lead Physiotherapist for the England Squash Team, and part of the Elite Development for Edinburgh Rugby, where her role was to aid in the education of injury recovery, prevention and performance enhancement.

Masseuse Joins TPF team!

Total Performance Fitness is proud to announce a new member to our team! Barbara Reynolds will be teaming up with TPF to bring you massage and soft tissue therapy at our brand new facility.

Barbara is a level 4 Soft Tissue Therapist and has been working with professional ice hockey team and TPF parter Belfast Giants. For over a year Barbara has been providing players with treatment before and after games and practices. Along with the Giants, Barbara also works with the Queens University Rowing & Hockey clubs, St Canice, GAC and Dungiven GAA teams.

“I feel very privileged to be working with these teams and with a love of sports myself, I have am always looking for new ways to help the athletes perform,” Said Barbara.

“The great thing about massage is that you don’t have to be a professional athlete to reap the benefits. If you have any niggles, aches or pains it is always a good idea to get a good deep tissue massage.”

Sports massage can not only help increase performance but can help prevent injury and increase the length of a career. If you aren’t an athlete then massage can still have many benefits to you such as relieve stress, alleviate lower back and neck pain and help improve your tissue quality.

“With the continuing growth of the training facility, I knew a Massage Therapist was something we had to have in house,” said Colin Shields of TPF.

“Barb did such a great job last year with the Giants and knowing first hand how passionate and detailed she was, I had to get her on board with us.”

Group Functional Training sessions start May 18th!

IMG_5173Total Performance Fitness is pleased to announce our new small Group Functional Training sessions! These unique sessions allow you to have a training experience in a small group format of no more than 6 people. Training in a small group is a great way to mix up your normal routine or simply train with friends while at a fraction of the cost.

Whether your goal is weight loss, injury rehabilitation or to simply get a great workout, we can cater to the needs of men and women of all ages and fitness levels. The training sessions are aimed at improving soft tissue quality and flexibility, increasing upper and lower body power, building full body strength and enhancing your cardiovascular fitness.

These programmes are not only designed to help you achieve your goals, but to help you move better and become healthier than you ever have in your life. During the workout, the group of no more than 6 adults covers the following: Myofascial Release (Foam Roll), Static Stretching, Active Warm Up, Functional Strength Training, Conditioning.

These sessions will run daily with morning and evening workouts available. Please contact for more information.

Summer Elite Program Announced!

TPF is happy to announce it’s Summer Elite Athlete Conditioning Program starting this summer!

Athletes will learn the basic techniques and build a solid foundation. The workouts will progress when the athlete is ready, challenging them and helping them take their performance to a new level.
